What to Include in Your Message

To make your question easier to understand and evaluate, include only the details that are relevant:

  • The instrument, ensemble, course, or music-education topic involved
  • The student’s general experience level or grade range, without a name or identifying details
  • The exact sound, skill, rehearsal, classroom, or program problem you are trying to solve
  • What you have already tried and whether anything improved or changed
  • The outcome you hope to achieve

Please do not include student names, personal contact information, identification numbers, medical or disability records, or other confidential school information. Generalized classroom context is usually enough to understand the question.
